A Kona Airport lei greeting is a warm, traditional Hawaiian welcome right at Kona International Airport (KOA). Your greeter meets you at baggage claim and presents you with a fresh flower lei made from the best in-season blooms like dendrobium orchids, plumeria, carnations, or tuberose. It's a thoughtful way to start your vacation - or to surprise honeymooners, first-time visitors, or family arriving on the Big Island.

Due to high demand, tuberose and cigar leis must be booked at least 1 week prior to your arrival date.

Standard Lei

A single strand of flowers.

Superior Lei

A fuller lei with double the amount of flowers in a Standard Lei.

Deluxe Lei

Our most lavish lei with three times the amount of flowers in a Standard Lei.

Kukui Nut Lei

Glossy long lasting lei made from a traditional Hawaiian nuts (not edible).

Ti Leaf Lei

Braided Green leaf (Ti Leaf). This is the good luck lei!

Tuberose Lei

Stronger Fragrance lei (sweet) as opposed to standard lei.

Tuberose Mix Lei

This lei has tuberose and orchids or plumerias mixed together.

Deluxe Tuberose Lei

Deluxe Tuberose leis are fuller than the regular tuberose lei.

Cigar Lei

Not a stong fragrance lei. A beautiful lei greeting which is popular with men

A Kona Lei Greeting on the Big Island of Hawaii at the airport is a great way to start off your Hawaiian vacation with the warm spirit of Aloha. Let our friendly Kona Hawaii greeters welcome you to the islands in the traditional Hawaiian way.

We only use the best flowers available – dendrobium orchids, carnations, plumerias, tuberose or superior combinations of these flowers.  The type of flower used on any lei is subject to season and availability.

If ordering within 2 days of arrival there is a $15 charge per party (not per person). Only "Standard" Leis are available when ordering within 2 days of arrival.

*Please Note: if this is a surprise greeting, you MUST inform the lei greeter recipient to look for a sign with their name on it. There will be no refund for missed greetings due to uninformed recipients!

**Leis can be shortened for children upon request. Please call or make a notation next to the recipient’s name for the request.

    Instructions for KONA (KOA) airport arrival :

    Look for a welcome sign personalized with your name or group name as you exit the terminal, prior to entering the baggage claim area. Due to shortages, tuberose flowers may be substituted with plumeria flowers at no additional cost until further notice.

    For same day changes due to flight delays/changes, please contact 808-796-3102.

  • Restrictions:

    Leis can be shortened for children upon request. Please call or make a notation next to the recipients name for the request.
